Biomechanical Running Analysis

The foundation of learning to run efficiently, reducing the risk of injury and improving your performance.

Using ultra high definition video and software your Bio-Mechanical running either on a treadmill, or outside is analysed, I take this one step further and conduct a Functional Movement Analysis to give us a full picture of where you are today with your movement.
This information allows me to identify your existing movement patterns, any inefficiencies or weaknesses that could be causing or leading to an injury, and preventing you from performing better.
This session is very important because we look at the weaknesses of the body in movement. How your body reacts to the change of movement going from walking to running and from running to sprinting. Balanced biomechanics, form, and technique are key factors to running faster, more efficiently, and injury-free. Correct running form ensures that we create and maintain linear momentum, reduce joint impact, minimize energy loss and maximize efficiency and economy. The application of Biomechanical, Gait and Movement Analysis and video documentation helps us to identify any weaknesses and the underlying causes for weaknesses in walking, running, and sprinting. The results help me to develop individualised, running technique and performance programmes.
